Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
⚠ Draft terms — pending legal review before public launch. Service agreements for pilot customers are issued individually.
1. About these terms
These terms cover your use of the LayerOS website (layeros.uk) and participation in our early-access programme. Businesses that go live with the LayerOS service sign a separate service agreement which takes precedence for the service itself.
2. The website
- Content on this site — including pricing, features and roadmap items — describes an early-access product and may change before general launch.
- Dashboard imagery and testimonials marked as examples use sample or illustrative data.
- You may not scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of this site without permission.
3. Early access & pilots
- Early-access places are limited and offered at our discretion.
- Pilot pricing shown on this site is indicative and confirmed in writing before any commitment.
- Pilots can be cancelled by either side with reasonable notice; call forwarding can be switched off by the business at any time.
4. What LayerOS does and doesn't do
- LayerOS always discloses that it is an automated assistant at the start of a call.
- It does not make binding commitments on your behalf — prices, guarantees and commitments outside your approved configuration are referred back to you.
- It does not give medical, legal or financial advice, and urgent or sensitive situations are escalated to a human using wording approved by the business.
- Callers who ask to speak to a human are always accommodated.
5. Liability
The website is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law. Liability for the live service is addressed in each customer's service agreement.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
