LayerOS ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered call handling and missed-call recovery service for businesses in the United Kingdom. This site is operated from the UK. For anything in this policy, contact hello@layeros.uk.
When a business uses LayerOS to handle its calls, we process data on that business's behalf, including caller phone numbers, call recordings and transcripts, and the details callers choose to share (such as their name, location and what they need). Callers are always told at the start of the call that they are speaking to an automated assistant.
We process demo-request data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) and call data under contract with the business using the service. Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or ask us to delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict processing. Email hello@layeros.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Demo enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Call data retention is agreed with each business customer and set out in their service agreement.
We will update this page as the service evolves and note the date above. Material changes will be highlighted to business customers directly.
